DuraDerma safely strengthens skin
A topical gel of medical-grade silk fibroin, applied alongside standard of care to at-risk points of body contact, to reinforce intact skin and enhances resilience against mechanical stress and shearing forces that drive pressure injury.
Preventative, not reactive. Acts on intact skin — unlike dressings and NPWT used on open wounds.
Intended for twice daily application by a provider to high-risk contact points in bedridden, immobilized patients.
Augments standard of care to improve efficacy rather than replacing existing protocols.

In the U.S. more than 15 million patients are at-risk of developing a pressure ulcer and more than 2.5 million cases occur each year1 resulting in >$26.8B in care costs (>$70B globally, >100M at-risk patients). Late-stage ulcers cost up to $44,000 per case.
Reducing the risks of developing a pressure ulcer or progression of an early-stage ulcer in at-risk patients is one of the largest unmet medical needs in the advanced wound care market.
